Waste water data suggests Kiwi’s consume 16kg of Meth per week at a cost of $9.6m for the week. Meth is consumed daily but Cocaine and Ecstasy saw spikes on the weekend. Meth is found in the wastewater throughout the country.
This level of consumption must be alarming to landlords, employers and general road users as there is a high probability of New Zealanders coming across someone with a Meth or drug issue on a daily basis.
